A 43 year old resident of Calasparra has died from Covid-19 bringing the total number of local fatalities from the virus to nine.
Sadly the patient died after being admitted to the intensive care unit at the Santa Lucia Hospital, Cartagena about a month ago.
There are currently seven cases of Covid-19 in Calasparra and there were no new cases diagnosed in the last 24 hours.
