Covid-19 cases in Calasparra have continued to increase in the last few days, the local Covid-19 Policy Coordination Committee announced yesterday.
The Committee calls the stuation in Calasparra “very worrying” with 31 active cases and two diagnosed in the last 24 hours.
Seven people have been selected to act as virus trackers to facilitate selective testing in sectors of the population where there have been clusters of contagions or major incidence of the virus.
Calasparra Town Hall and the local Medical Centre are collaborating to raise awareness in the local community and schools.
The Committee appeals for maximum responsibility as the numbers of contagions remain at a very worrying level requiring everyone to contribute to lowering them by:
Reducing social contacts to a minimum
Ventilate indoor spaces (work, home etc)
Use masks
Maintain a distance from other people
Wash hands regularly
Clean and disinfect
Do not leave your house if you have symptoms but phone the Medical Centre immediately on 900 12 12 12
