The Government Delegate and ex-mayor of Calasparra, ose Velez has announced that police checkpoints and patrols will be stepped up over this weekend to avoid people trying to travel to municipal areas where bars and restaurants are open.
Velez explained that there are 17 different models of the State of Alarm in the 45 municipal areas in the region but, as reported in Nexonr yesterday, everyone is restricted to the limits of their municipal area unless they have a justifiable reason for travelling.
The number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 rose slightly in the last 24 hours but hospital admissions, including intensive care, dropped.
Regrettably there were 12 more deaths during the past 24 hours.
