The latest report on COVID-19 from MURCIA SALUD published today, October 19, reports an increase in the number of cases in Calasparra.
There are now 14 confirmed cases of the virus in Calasparra, eight of which were confirmed in the last seven days.
The Mayoress of Calasparra, Teresa Garcia, continues in quarantine awaiting the results of her second PCR test. The first one was negative.
The Mayoress was in close contact with the Mayor of Mula who has since tested positive for the virus.
