The local police and the Guardia Civil acted rapidly to prevent a robbery on the local Industrial Estate, recovering a stolen vehicle and valuable property.
Early on Saturday morning the officers received a call reporting a burglar alarm had been triggered on a warehouse in the industrial estate.
Officers responded rapidly arriving when the thieves were still inside the premises. The alleged culprits escaped across the fields on foot where officers were unable to pursue them in a vehicle.
Valuable tools and industrial machinery were recovered inside a car which had been stolen in the local area.
The police are investigating the incident with a view to arresting the culprits.
