The Medical Centre and Calasparra Town Hall have called on local residents not to be complacent as the local area logs the lowest rate of Covid-19 contagions in the Murcia region.
There are currently two active cases of the virus in Calasparra.
Statistics for nearby towns during the last 14 days are not so bright with Caravaca registering 96 cases; Cehegin, 27; Bullas, 25; and Moratalla, 12.
