The upward trend of cases of Covid-19 in the region continues as 675 cases were confirmed by midnight on Thursday for the last 24 hours.
This brings the total of active cases in the region to 7,097 with 317 patients currently hospitalized.
There have been two deaths in the last 24 hours bringing the total to 189 deceased.
