There will be road closures near and around the education centres in Calasparra in order to avoid traffic jams and crowding at the school gates in the mornings and evenings.
At the foot of this article there is a series of maps indicating exactly which roads will be closed. The closures will be between 8.45 and 9.15am and 1.45 and 2.10pm.During these periods these roads will be open to pedestrians only.
Calasparra Town Hall and the local police have also launched a campaign to encourage parents to walk their children to school.
School term in Calasparra begins this week.
