Each day of the fiestas that didn´t happen this year has been marked by the launching of the traditional rocket which normally signals the start of the encierro (bull run).
Today, for the launching of the final rocket, the former mayor of Calasparra, Jose Velez, attended the event held at the bottom of Calle Mayor where the bulls are normally kept before the bull run.
