The Covid Coordination Committe met yesterday and announced there are five active cases of coronavirus in Calasparra that were well controlled and acting responsably.
Current measures to avoid the spread of the virus include:
Limitation on all social gatherings, private or public , to six people unless they are people who live in the same household.
Bars and restaurants are to limit tables to six occupants (unless from the same household) and the nocturnal closures are maintained.
Consuming food or drinking at the bar in bars and restuarants is prohibited as is serving the public from an open hatch.
Limit of 30 people at wedding and other celebrations whether indoors or outdoors.
Limit of 15 people at funerals and wakes and 25 in open air.
Limit of 100 in organised events in open air or indoors with large audiences or crowds.
Residents are reminded they are obliged to respect these measures and commit a civil offence by disobeying.
The meeting of the Coordination Committee was attended by the Mayoress, Teresa Garcia, the Head of Citizen Security, Antonio Merino and the Chief of the Local Police Miguel Angel Martinez.
These measures published apply over the entire region of Murcia.
