This morning the Head of the local Department of Urban Development and Works, Antonio Merino, met with the Director General of Roads, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, to discuss repairing main roads in and around Calasparra.
Top of the agenda for our local representative was a series of proposals and requests for repairs and improvement work to start immediately on the Mula Road (MU-552) and other regional roads in Calasparra.
His proposals includes:
Repairs and improvements to the Mula Road where it passes through Calasparra.
An application for tourist signs and information on the roads in the region for different significant resources for tourists (historic, cultural etc) in Calasparra.
Repairs and improvements to different traffic signs which are in a poor state of repair.
Repairs and improvements to the old Mula road crossing the Old Bridge (Puente Viejo).
