The regional government has introduced new restrictions ias the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the region doubles.
One cluster has been traced back to a nightclub and included in the new restrictions is the closure of venues for nocturnal leisure activities, such as night clubs, discos etc. although terraces can remain open.
The number of people permitted in a meeting, party, or any other social activity is reduced to 15.
Day Centres in Cieza and Totano have been closed and visits to OAPs residences in the region are restricted.
Readers are reminded that masks are obligatory from the moment you step outside your home. They are not necessary when traveling in your car if you travel with people you live with. Nor are they necessary when practicing sport, although walking is not included in this category or when eating or drinking in a bar/restaurant although they are advisable when you are sitting at a terrace without actually consuming anything and are obligatory if you move from your table (to go to the toilet, to the bar or to leave the premises).
There are substantial fines for not obeying this order.
