TOMORROW IS GOING TO BE HOT, HOT, HOT

If you think this is hot you ain´t seen nothing yet! Tomorrow will bring temperatures of 40C and tropical nights.
OK so the weekend was hot and the early days of this week even hotter but the Murcia region has actually been cooler than many areas of Spain which have already hit 40C or more.
However, this is all about to change, according to the Met Office as temperatures will rise to 38 or 40C in the Murcia region tomorrow and Thursday and temperatures will continue to rise over the weekend.
The Met Office is warning of the two great dangers of the heat: heat stroke and forest fires.
In order to enjoy the hot weather without endangering your wellbeing readers are encouraged to stay in the shade and cool areas during the worst of the heat of the day. Loose, light clothing, sunglasses and a hat are advised and drinking lots of cool water. Avoid abusing alcohol or tea and coffee.
It is not advisable either to work outside in the heat of the sun or practice sport. If you want to go for a walk before 8am and after 8pm are the best times.
The risk of forest fires is very high during hot weather and all fires and open barbecues are prohibited.
