National statistics show the lowest number of deaths from coronavirus and the lowest number of new confirmed cases since March 16,
The Government decided yesterday to release the statistics in the late afternoon rather than in the morning to allow time for them to be properly analyzed.
The number of confirmed cases nationally over the past 28 hours rose by 285 to 231,666.
Some 27,709 people have died as a result of the virus nationally and over the last 28 hours there have been 59 new deaths, 38 less than yesterday.
Nationally some 172 people have been admitted to hospital since yesterday and 15 of those were admitted to intensive care.
Regional Statistics
In the Murcia region there were 29 new cases confirmed bringing the total to 2595.
One person died overnight bringing the total deceased to 145.
The number of patients cured totals 2180 of which 96 occurred over the past 24 hours.
