RYANAIR CUTS WINTER SERVICES FROM ALICANTE

Ryanair has announced that from Friday, October 28, it will cancel 31 routes and reduce the frequency of 27 others which currently operate from Alicante airport.
The move is intended to put pressure on Aena, the airport authority, to access to Ryanair´s demands to permit passengers to embark and disembark on foot and is calculated to cost the airport some 30 million euros a year.
According to Ryanair “some of the flights” will be reinstated next summer.
The 31 routes cancelled are to destinations: Aarhus; Bournemouth; Cork; Doncaster; Kaunas; Maastricht; Marrakech; Oslo Torp; Palma, París Beauvais; Pisa; Pozna; Santander; Stockholm Vast; Valladolid; Venice and Zaragoza, amongst others.
The flights which will be less frequent are to destinations: Birminghan; Bolonia; Bristol; Brussels Charleroi; Dublín; Dusseldorf Weeze; Edinburgh; Frankfurt Hahn; Glasgow Prestwick; Cracovia; Leeds Bradford; London Gatwick; London Stansted; Madrid; Manchester; Milan Bérgamo; Oslo Rygge; Santiago; Seville and Stockholm Skavsta, amongst others.
