Calasparra was the only municipal area in North East Murcia to register a fall in unemployment during September largely due to the activities of the North East Employment Consultancy and the first phase of the Employment Plan.
Nationally, in the region of Murcia and in North East Murcia the unemployment figures are rising but in Calasparra the figure has fallen by 17 to 1,210 people officially registered as without work.
