The local Chamber of Commerce has launched a competition to promote local shops and stores and to encourage residents to support local businesses this Christmas.
The participants in the “find Wally” type competition (but with two soft toy heroes) will be entered in a prize draw with dinner for two in a local restaurant as the prize.
The idea is that shoppers look for and/or enquire about the whereabouts of two soft toys in local shops and businesses: Rodolfo el reno de Navidad (Rudolf the Christmas reindeer) and Doroteo el gnomo (Dorothy the gnome). When they find them they should take a photo of themselves with the toy and put it on Facebook with the slogan “Yo siga la Navidad” (I follow Christmas) in order to entered in the draw.
