This morning Calasparra celebrated the encierro por vereda, herding the cows and young bulls from the countryside into the town.
Horseback riders joined those on foot as they accompanied livestocl from the Royo Palacio from the Llano de la Traviesa, through Los Fontanares and Cabeza Negra to the corral at the bottom of Calle Mayor.
