This Inaugural Speech for Calasparra´s popular Fiestas of St Abdon and
St Senen, was given this year by Teresa Garcia, at a special ceremony in the
Saints Church.
Her speech was littered with personal experiences and memories of past editions
of the Fiestas.
The President of the Brotherhood of the Patron Saints, Juan Antonio Garcia Juarez, also made a speech.
The Mayor of Calasparra, Jose Velez, attended the event to show his support for
these popular local fiestas.
