The
LIFE + Ripisilvanatura Programme is calling on volunteers
to help clean rubbish out of the River Argos and assist a study of the type of
rubbish thrown into the river.
The programme is part of the project to restore and safeguard local rivers.
The initiative also forms part of the Libera Project, with SeoBirdlife and
Ecoembes, organised by ANSE and the local Department of the Environment.
Meet on Saturday June 15 at the Curva Restaurant at 10am.
The rubbish collection will take place from 10.30am to 1.30pm.
