The Guardia Civil have arrested a 31 year old Calasparrian in connection with a series of burglaries from isolated properties.
Described as an “expert criminal” with a long list of previous convictions, he was arrested in connection with eight burglaries of electrical and technical goods, which he then attempted to sell on second hand sites on the Internet.
The investigation began last April after a series of burglaries, in properties close to one another, with the same modus operandi. The burglar was identified after officers found some of the stolen items for sale on the Internet.
Various items have been recovered and returned to their owners.
The suspected burglar has appeared before magistrates in Caravaca.
The investigation remains open and further arrests are possible.
