Miguel Moret Duclós, Chief of the Local Police in Calasparra for the past 36 years, will swop his uniform for civvies as he announces he will stand as a PSOE candidate in the upcoming elections.
Confirming his retirement he told Radio Calasparra that the affection he held for Calasparra had been a major influence over his past 36 years as Police Sergeant and Chief of Police.
“I feel profoundly grateful for the life I have been given,” he added.
