A 24 hour national mourning period was announced last night by the
Government following the death of ex Vice President, Socialist, Alfred Përez
Rubulcaba.
Also leader of the PSOE in opposition in the first years of Rajoy´s government,
Rubulcaba, aged 67, died yesterday in hospital after suffering a stroke on
Wednesday.
All political parties, apart from Vox, have cancelled campaigning for 24 hours
including the PSOE scheduled for this evening, Saturday, in the Casa de la
Cultura.
