Now the heat of the summer is dying down the Municipal Walking Season begins again with the annual and very traditional Pilgrimage to San Miguel.
The walk will take place on Sunday September 25.
A large number of residents, young and old, join this annual walk and two officers from the Civil Protection with their donkeys carry refreshments to the top of the mountain where they are distributed from the door of the tiny chapel.
The path has been completely renovated and, although there are several fairly steep sections, the walk is generally fairly easy and the 360 degree view from the summit is fair reward.
