The bull running, encierros, will take place at 10am every morning from Saturday September 3 to September 8.
The barriers are already in place along the route from the bottom of Calle Mayor, along Calle Lavador to the bull ring.
Spectators are reminded to arrive early in order to secure a good view of the encierros; not to locate themselves on the barriers near the bull ring entrance as these are reserved for the runners; small children are normally required to stand behind the barriers; adults should climb to the top rungs of the barriers in order to leave space for runners and in order to avoid any danger from the bulls.
The duration of the encierros is just a few minutes, however, spectators can buy a ticket, for a nominal amount from the bull ring box office, to see the bulls and the runners in the bull ring after the encierros. Snacks and beer are sold in the bull ring.
After the encierros there are special fiesta bars in the streets of the town centre offering tapas, traditionally sardines or shellfish, and beer.
The full fiesta programme is featured above.
