There is something for everyone in Calasparra this weekend as the annual half mountain marathon takes place on Saturday afternoon and on Sunday there is another date on the municipal walking calendar.
If you are not into sport the statue of Our Lady of Hope, currently in St Peter’s Church during the month of May, will visit the Caverina area of the town on Saturday at 7pm and there will be “country mass” at 8pm.
Also on Saturday night current and former Pedreras Primary School pupils are organising a concert in the Municipal Auditorium to celebrate the school’s 30th anniversary.
