Ibredrola has warned the Ministry of Industry that the Government set ceiling of 3000 million euros for the deficit between the cost of producing electricity and the tariffs will be exceeded this year if electricity prices are not increased.
Ibredrola predicts that the 3000 million euros ceiling will be exceeded if the demand for electricity decreases.
Ibredrola made a net profit of 1,014.8 million euros between January and March 2011: a record and a 10.1% increase compared to the same period last year.
