The Flower Festival in Calasparra began today, Friday, when the Brotherhood of the local patron saints offered a wide range of flowers and plants for sale in the Plaza de la Corredera.
Tomorrow, Saturday, it will be the turn of the local Disabled Persons Association and local women´s groups to take part in the festival and raise much needed funds.
The Flower Festival is an opportunity to buy locally grown plants which will add a splash of colour to your garden and to support local charities as well.
The festival starts at approximately 10.30am and will continue until lunchtime.
