The distributors of Repsol bottled butane gas have voted unanimously to suspend home deliveries for 24 hours on May 11 throughout Spain and begin legal action against the company for breach of contract.
According to the Spanish Federation of Provincial Associations and Companies Distributors of Bottled Liquid Gas (FED GLP) the unanimous decision is a protest against the failure of Repsol to “apply economic clauses in the contract.” The Federation is calling on the Government to revise the formula in order that the price of bottled gas can be revised quarterly.
