The local police arrested two youths on Saturday night on suspicion of
burglary with force in houses in the countryside around Calasparra.
The arrest followed a call received by local police reporting a suspicious
vehicle near a country property.
According to sources at the Department of Police and Citizen Security at the Town
Hall both youths have appeared before magistrates.
In December another person was arrested in connection with various burglaries
in rural properties.
The arrests form part of the Citizen Security Plan organised by the Town Hall.
