Sunday was a grand day for solidarity, sport and childhood as the regional association, “Una Bonita Sonrisa,” held a sporting event to raise awareness of rare illnesses and conditions which affect children.
The festive atmosphere aimed to focus attention on the need to improve the quality of life for children with rare conditions.
AD Blade Runners, Calasparra Town Hall and almost 50 local businesses or services collaborated to organize bouncy castles, face painting, raffles, workshops, music and animation plus, of course, noncompetitive races for every age group.
