Eighty five years ago today, November 19, women voted for the first time in Spain. A date worth celebrating on the International Day Against Domestic Violence, which falls on the same day this year.
Events to mark the day include a special radio show; candles for the victims and a public reading and symbolic acts in all the education centres in Calasparra.

Presentation and delivery of books to the Casa de la Cultura. Collaboration of the Reader´s Club and the Women´s Association.
