The river beach, clearing the river banks and the slalom course were some of the matters on the agenda when the Mayor of Calasparra, Jose Velez, met Mario Urrea, the President of the Segura Water Board (CHS) this week.
The Mayor said the meeting had been “positive” and that the President had been sympathetic to the petitions of the local farmers’ associations regarding irrigation water.
