Almost 400 football fans turned out to support the youngsters, F.B. Juvenil on Saturday at the Caverina when they met with mighty Cieza and won the game two goals to zero.
Despite high expectations the performance of the away team was disappointing and although neither team scored in the first half the local team clearly dominated the game. The first goal came in the 23rd minute of the second half from Juan Carlos and in the 40th minute Edu sealed the victory for the Calasparrians.
This victory can only aid the aspirations of the local team, trained by Joaquín Alcázar, who hope to ascend to a higher league at the end of the season but much depends on the result of the next game at the Caverina against Cehegin when a draw will be sufficient.
