After the last two fast, clean bull runs today’s, Wednesday, broke the record and was the fastest run ever at a mere two minutes and one second.
The bulls ran so fast the monitors could hardly keep up with them. There were no injuries reported.
However, another youth, this time from Moratalla, was pierced in the leg by a heifer in the bull ring. The injury was treated in the field hospital and was graded as not serious.
A special guest at today´s run, dedicated to Our Lady of Hope at the Sanctuary, was the Mayor of Premia de Dalt, Josep Triadó. He joined the Mayor of Calasparra and other local dignitaries in a procession from the bull ring to the corrals with an image of Our Lady of Hope.
