Easter is almost here and on Saturday the traditional opening speech for the local festivities, the “pregón,” is in the gift of the head of the local Grammar School (IES), Antonia Martínez Llorente.
The “pregón”, on Saturday at 8pm in St Peter’s Church gives an anecdotal personal view of the history of Calasparra.
There will also be a performance by the Calasparra Choir and the prize for the winning East Week poster (pictured here) will be presented during the event.
