The statue of Our Lady of Hope of the Sanctuary was brought to Calasparra in a pilgrimage from the Sanctuary and will stay in the town until June 10.
Currently residing in St Peter´s Church, the statue was met by the statues of the Patron Saints of Calasparra outside the Caverina football stadium where the Rondalla OAPs group sang and danced for the crowd.
During the procession from the Caverina to St Peter´s Church the statue passed through Calle Socovos where it was showered with rose petals and rosemary from the balconies.
