Calasparra is one of six municipal areas in the Murcia region selected to take part in a three year international youth project. “Global Education Beings in Your Town.”
The project is financed by the Europe Aid programme of the European Commission and aims to promote a commitment amongst European citizens to take an active role facing the challeneges of our world as it is. To this end the programme includes studies in equal opportunities; sustainable cities; production and responsable consumerism.
Other countries taking part in the project include Bulgaria, Cyprus, Austria, Lithuania and
Slovenia.
