The recently formed, Local Committee for Juniors and Adolescents, made up of children between the ages of 10 and 15 years old has got a new logo (pictured here).
Councilors, observers and technical staff also serve on the Committee, which aims to bring ideas and proposals and improve access and encourage the full participation of young people in local society.
The first task of the Committee was to choose the logo from work submitted by local schools. It also participated in the plan for the Book Week Programme and has participated in the Local Plan for Juniors and Adolescents.
The Committe aspire to recognition under the UNICEF scheme, Ciudad Amiga de la Infancia.
