Members of the cooperatives, agricultural workers, business people, and residents joined Jose Velez, Mayor of Calasparra, to demonstrate in Madrid yesterday to defend irrigation water from the Tajo Segura Water Transfer.
Some 50,000 s people took the streets in Madrid demanding solutions to the crisis which affects part of the agricultural sector in Calasparra and Cieza.
