A rash of inaugurations before the March 28 deadlines brings us into full campaign mode with the elections just two months away.
The political parties will be vying for your vote over the next eight weeks so if you have a general question for all three parties send it to us by email and we will translate it and send it on. Please try and keep questions short and concise and direct them to all three party leaders.
Here are the latest two questions we have received. As soon as we receive the responses we will translate them and publish them on the webpage.
Question one: We have neither STOP nor Ceda el Paso signs on Tierra del Sol which makes driving on the urbanization very dangerous for residents and visitors alike. Moreover, several of the roads still do not have signs indicating their name which means the emergency services have great difficulty finding the house which corresponds with an address. The residents would like to know what priority the political parties will give to resolving these problems.
Question Two: Over the last few weeks there have been a substantial number of burglaries on the outskirts of Calasparra, including on Cañada Verde and Tierra del Sol, and the residents feel very insecure. What strategy do the political parties have for crime prevention, protection and support for the victims of crime in these areas?
