The Easter week celebrations, including processions and various other traditional events, are organised every year by the religious brotherhoods of Calasparra, known as “cofradías.”
This week the work of some of these brotherhoods was officially recognized: the Brotherhood of the Year was presented to Cofradia De La Samaritan and Jesús Martínez received recognition for this work during the year.
The opening speech of this year´s Easter Week will be in the hands of Joaquina Sola Heredia.
