The first day of the International Tourism Show, FITUR, in Madrid and very distinguished visitors to the North West Murcia stand were the King and Queen of Spain, who received a presentation pack of Calasparra Rice.
Hundreds of people passed by the stand, where Calasparra is featured with neighbouring towns.
As part of the promotion of the town there was a special presentation of Calasparra rice; cheese tasting offered by Villa Vieja and Tio Rest; meetings with tour operators and travel agencies; and interviews on Radio 3 National Radio, Onda Cero North of North West Murcia; and Onda regional Murcia stations.
