Two events aimed to promote the conservation of bats in Calasparra as a means of natural control of insects will take place overt the weekend of December 1.
On Friday December 1 there will be a talk about bat conservation in the Casa de la Cultura at 7pm. Entrance is free of charge.
On Saturday December 2 there will be a chance for volunteers to help place “bat boxes” in the River Segura area. The boxes form refuges for the animals.
Meet at the “hut” (Mi Antonio Bar) at 10am on Saturday.
