The past week of showery weather may be a bore for some of us but it is manna from heaven for the local farmers who have just finished their spring planting and sun and high temperatures are predicted for this weekend.
According to the regional weather centre some 15 litres of rain fell per square metre in Calasparra over Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures were due to start rising yesterday, Friday, and should be in the 20’s for Saturday and Sunday. Sun and cloud is forecast.
