The Head of the local Department of Equality, Mari Carmen López Alba, has announced Calasparra will support a campaign which calls for early plastic surgery for women who have a mastectomy due to breast cancer.
The campaign, called Platform E730 was started by the photographer, Mara León, who had a breast amputated after breast cancer and was put on a three year waiting list for plastic surgery.
Mari Carmen López Alba, has announced that Calasparra will collaborate with this “very important• campaign and encourages residents to sign the petition, which is available at the general office in the Town Hall.
