The Mayor of Calasparra, José Vélez Fernández, has presented the “Keys of Calasparra” to the local police, guardia civil, fire brigade, environmental officers, civil protection and the forestry brigade, as a tribute to their work protecting the community.
The ceremony was held in the Municipal Auditorium on Friday to coincide with the Day of the Region of Murcia.
The Mayor underlined the “debt that residents owe to these organizations” and emphasized their “sacrifice, dedication and discipline” which “makes them great professionals.”
