Some 20 secondary school students from Donzdorf, Germany, have arrived in Calasparra as part of the twinning programme.
The youngsters will stay with local families and participate in cultural, social and educational activities before returning to Germany next Friday.
The Mayor of Calasparrra, Jose Velez, held an offical reception in the Town Hall for the group of visitors.
