Nine pupìls from Calasparra took part in the FORM (Federación de Orientación de la Región de Murcia) Orienteering Trials to assess them for possible inclusión in the national squad.
In the Junior Female, Lucía López Lozano, Alba Godínez Martínez, Carmen Martínez Lozano and Margarita Pérez Montero, came first, second, third and fifth respectively. In the Male event José María Martínez Gomariz came third.
In the Infant Male Manuel Ruiz Vera, came third while Ángel Zapata Ruiz came ninth in the female.
In the Yellow Open second and third places went to Adriana Martínez Gomariz and Antonio López Lozano, respectivaely with Salvador García Ruiz, in sixth.
In the Open Red Javier Godínez Mergelina came second.
In the Seniors Gemma Rubio Provencio and Sergio Montoya García came fifth.
Ana Rosa Poveda, Came first the the Elite Category.
