The Club Alpino of Calasparra is organizing the VIII Crossing (Travesía) of the Sierra del Molino, in homage to «Pepe Chipilín» on Sunday April 2.
The walk leaves from the Youth Centre at 8.30am.

Having climbed the Sierra de Molino at its highest point and walked the length of it I can thoroughly recommend the 360 degree views of Calasparra and surrounding countryside. It is quite stunning from up there. However, the top is very narrow and rocky in places and the climb is quite hard. Not for the faint hearted or the unfit but certainly worth the effort!!
